1. Acceptance of these terms
These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form an agreement between you and Gree Web Solutions for the use of the mobile application Tax Calculator & Tax Organiser (package com.taxora.taxora, the "App"). By downloading or using the App you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. Licence to use the App
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App on devices you own or control, for your own personal or internal business purposes, in line with these Terms and the rules of the store you downloaded it from.
3. Estimates only — not tax advice
The App provides estimates for planning purposes only. It is not tax, legal, accounting or financial advice, and it is not an official calculation or assessment by any tax authority.
- Results depend on the information you enter and on simplifications that each result lists.
- Tax situations vary; not every income type, deduction, credit or local rule is modelled.
- Before filing a return, making a payment or taking a financial decision, check with your tax authority or a qualified tax professional.
4. Tax rules and updates
Tax rules in the App are based on officially published sources for each supported country and tax year. Laws change, sometimes with retrospective effect, and published figures may be revised. Where a tax year's rules are not yet available, the App uses the latest available rules and shows a warning. We aim to update rules in App updates but do not guarantee that they are complete, current or error-free.
5. Your responsibilities
- Enter accurate information and review results before relying on them.
- Keep your device secure, for example with a screen lock.
- Keep your own copies of important records and documents.
- Meet your own filing and payment deadlines; in-app deadlines are a guide only.
6. Your data and documents
Everything you enter stays on your device and remains yours. We have no copy and cannot recover lost data. You are responsible for documents you store in the App and must have the right to store them. See the Privacy Policy for details.
7. Acceptable use
You must not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile or redistribute the App except as allowed by law; use it for any unlawful purpose; or present its results as an official tax assessment or as professional advice from us.
8. Intellectual property
The App, its design, logo, text and software are owned by Gree Web Solutions or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Tax laws and official figures referenced in the App remain the property of their respective public authorities. Open-source components are used under their own licences, listed in the App.
9. App stores
Your use of the App is also subject to the terms of Google Play or the Apple App Store. If you downloaded the App from the App Store, Apple is not responsible for the App or its support, and these Terms are between you and Gree Web Solutions only; Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies where these Terms are silent.
10. Disclaimer of warranties
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the App is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gree Web Solutions is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any tax, penalty, interest or financial loss arising from your use of, or reliance on, the App or its results. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including your statutory consumer rights.
12. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or end the licence if you breach these Terms. Sections on disclaimers, liability and intellectual property continue after termination.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. Continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. This does not take away any mandatory consumer protection you have under the laws of the country where you live.
