1. Introduction & developer identity
This Privacy Policy explains how the mobile application Tax Calculator & Tax Organiser (package com.taxora.taxora, the "App"), developed by Gree Web Solutions ("we", "us"), handles information. It applies to the App on Android and iOS.
The App is a tax calculator and tax organiser: it estimates income tax, take-home pay and consumption tax under the rules of supported countries, and helps you keep tax records and documents.
2. Local-first design: we do not collect your data
The App is designed so that your information never leaves your device. We do not operate servers that receive data from the App, and we have no access to what you enter.
- The App does not request internet access, so it cannot send your data anywhere.
- There is no account, sign-up or login.
- We do not sell, share, rent or trade any personal information.
3. Information stored on your device
The following is saved in the App's private storage on your device, only when you enter it:

This information is protected by your device's app sandbox. We recommend using a screen lock on your device. We do not ask for and you should not enter passwords, bank or card details in the App.
4. Device permissions

5. Platform services
The App contains no advertising, analytics, crash-reporting or tracking SDKs. Document scanning uses the document scanner provided by your device's platform: Google Play services' on-device document scanner on Android, and Apple VisionKit on iOS. These components are operated by Google and Apple under their own terms and privacy policies:
App downloads and updates are handled by Google Play and the App Store under their policies.
6. Backups
On Android, the App opts out of cloud backup, so your records are not copied to your Google account. On iOS, a device backup you make to iCloud or a computer may include App data, under Apple's terms. Because we hold no copy of your data, it cannot be restored by us if your device is lost, reset or the App is uninstalled.
7. Data retention & deletion
- Data stays on your device until you delete it.
- You can delete individual records, documents and deadlines in the App.
- You can erase everything from More → Privacy & data → Delete all data.
- Uninstalling the App removes its data from your device.
8. Children's privacy
The App is intended for adults managing their own taxes and is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country). We do not knowingly collect information from children, and the App does not transmit any information to us.
9. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA and other laws)
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or port your personal data, and to object to processing. Because your data is stored only on your device and never sent to us, you can exercise these rights directly in the App: view and edit your records, export documents, or delete everything.

10. Changes to this policy
If the App's handling of information changes, we will update this page and its effective date before the change takes effect. Significant changes will also be noted in the App's store listing.
